As the Asset Lead, I was responsible for supervising a team of asset artists who were responsible for the tasks of Modeling, Texturing, and Surfacing, in the production of highly accurate, photoreal, and stylized CG assets to the highest quality possible.
 

  • Develop, manage and maintain quality and production schedules in accordance with producers and the team.

  • Organize and conduct team meetings to review any changes or updates related to the project.

  • Work closely with the CG and VFX supervisors of each show in order to ensure assets are QC'd and transition into lighting and shot context dev work.

  • Anticipate, analyze, and find solutions to potential and actual technical problems.

  • Incorporate Modeling, Texturing, and Surfacing workflows into the pipeline to streamline the process.

  • Work closely with the dev/pipeline department to make sure the asset team has the right support when it comes to tool development.
